The construction of the new trail link across the Edison property on Verdugo Boulevard is due to be completed this week. Seventy-five bushes have been planted along the retaining wall, and 300 feet of six-foot-high chain link fence is being installed on the other side of the 12-foot-wide trail. For safety, ground wire has been incorporated in the fencing. A driveway area and entry walls have also been completed. The last thing to be done is putting the decomposed granite on top of the trail segment.
