ALFie Summer Drama Workshops
The Assistance League of
Flintridge presented its annual
Summer Drama Workshops last
weekend at Lanterman
Auditorium.
Students in grades 4–6, under
the direction of Koni McCurdy,
performed last Friday in the play
“Terribly Terrifying Twisted
Tales,” with pianist Nancy Abbott
performing original music by
Barry Schawm.
Saturday night was a feature
that included magic, wizards and
sorceresses. Drama students in
grades 7– 12 performed the
“Magic Firebirds,” also under the
direction of McCurdy. McCurdy
also made arrangements for the
students to perform the play for
local retirement homes.
Students in grades 4–6 performing
