Delta Kappa Gamma Welcomes New Members

as new members of Delta Kappa Gamma,Alpha Upsilon Chapter.

Upsilon Chapter of the Delta
Kappa Gamma Society
International were welcomed at an
annual tea recently held at member
Pat Kalish’s La Cañada Flintridge
home.
President Nancy Gunther
presided and an initiation ceremony
was held to welcome Karen Wilcoxen, Laura Strametz, Mandy
Redfern, Pat Harris and Wendi
Kepner, from La Cañada Unified
School District.
Alpha Upsilon is assisting four
college students, who attended the
ceremony, with a grant of $4,500
this year. Also recognized were
Corresponding Secretary Judy
Kearns and World Fellowship
Committee Chair Shirley Sauvageau, who recently took
office at Chi State, the state level
Delta Kappa Gamma.
Delta Kappa Gamma is an
international society that promotes
professional and personal growth
of women educators and excellence
in education.
