LCHS Students Honored

La Cañada High School students Nikki Nathan, Katie Lazo, Kris Swick and Regina Saavedra, based on their academic accomplishments and heritage, have been selected to the National Hispanic Recognition Program.“They are at the top of their class, not only in terms of academic achievement, but also based on their school and community service,” said LCHS college counselor Sally Spangler.“They are exemplary students who have outstanding personal qualities as well.”The honorees, who must be at least 25% Hispanic to be eligible, were selected based on their stellar grade-point averages and PSAT scores.
