fundraising event was sold out and
raised $185,000.
Tournament Co-Chair Dave
Elliott was pleased with the results.
“Valencia Country Club is an excellent
course, and we had a great day
of competition,” he said. “Most
importantly, we were pleased to
meet our goal of raising $185,000
for the hospital.
“Dick Cook, my co-chair, and I
are both long-time members of the
VHH Foundation board and are
strong supporters of the hospital
because we have personally benefited
from having this resource in our
community. It was a pleasure to help
with this event.”
“We are both very happy that
this year’s tournament was, once
again, a tremendous success for the
hospital due to our tremendous cochairs,
the committee, numerous
volunteers and all of the participants,”
said Steve and Sue Wilder,
co-tournament directors. “Everyone
made the day a special one to
remember.”
