Descanso Offers Backyard Composting Class

Learn everything about backyard composting at Descanso Gardens on Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to noon. Various methods of composting, including passive, active, sheet and in-ground, will be discussed. Instructor John Lyons will also demonstrate vermicomposting and explain how to set up a yearround worm bin. Fees are $15 for members and $20 general public. Reservations recommended.
