Eighty-six La Canņada residents celebrated their birthday on Aug. 18 at a Thursday Club meeting. Event chairperson, Roberta Raffaelli (center), and committee members Dotty Greenawalt (left) and Sue Tutt helped plan the event, which included a catered luncheon complete with birthday cake, candles and presents for everyone in attendance. Luncheon guests were seated at tables which corresponded to their birthday months. Each table was decorated by the luncheon committee, embracing the theme of each month with special table adornments and custom china.
