Sport Chalet's Ski Shop To Reopen

LCF Outlook

Next month, just in time for the ski season, Sport Chalet's Ski Pro Shop will re-open its doors for business as usual. The heavy rains earlier this year caused some leaks and water damage to the building. The repair work, which began nearly seven weeks ago, is now nearly completed.

"We took the opportunity to modernize the interior and will open the doors again in October," said Craig Levra, Sport Chalet's chairman and CEO. "We are excited to get the work done and introduce the new products for 2005-06. Hopefully, our customers are excited as well. There will be no grand opening; the doors will just open again."

When customers enter the 4,300 square-foot store, the various departments will be in the same locations as before and they will receive the same expert service, Levra said.
