The Roger Barkley Community Center's fifth annual Fall Fiesta fundraising dinner will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Roger Barkley Community Center. The event begins at 6:30 pm.

One of the featured live-auction items donated by Wandy and Larry Jung is a beautifully framed photo of USC Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Matt Leinart and a copy of the 2004 Sports Illustrated "College Football" Top 10 edition personally signed by Matt Leinart. Interested parties may contact RBCC Executive Director Aaron Solomon at (818) 790-4353 to secure a pre-bid to win this item. According to Solomon, Leinart is no longer providing autographs and there are only a few available signatures on the 2004 SI magazine. This lovely framed piece of memorabilia was created and donated by new store owners Beverly & Frank deLucia of Fastframe, located at 2222 D Foothill Boulevard in LCF.

Tickets for the dinner event are $80 per person and may be purchased at the Community Center located at 4469 Chevy Chase Drive. The community is invited to the dinner, which will also honor 2005 "Smitty" Award recipient Anthony Portantino. There will also be several rounds of Bingo competition to win prizes valued much higher than the purchase price of the $20 Bingo cards, Solomon said.
